See What’s Draining iPad Battery Life?
It is nothing but frustrating when one minute you have a 100% charged iPad battery and the next minute you have nothing. Those low battery warning messages can really make you angry when you know that the battery usually lasts a lot longer than it has.
There are many tweaks and settings to change to save iPad battery life and these tips are very handy, however in this article you will see the actual apps that are draining your iPad battery.
The first thing you need to do is get familiar with the iPad settings icon. See the screenshot below. You will find hundreds of settings there to customize how you want to use your iPad.

1. Go to your iPad setting icon and touch to open.
2. Touch on General settings as shown below.
3. Then choose Battery Usage under the battery sub menu.
4. Now you will see a list of Apps that are using your battery. So now you will be able to see what’s
as you can see, Skype has hogged my battery life, but I know I did use it for about 2 hours in the past 24 hours. The other culprit here is Amazon Photo which is an app that automatically uploads photos from my iPad to the Amazon cloud. I didn’t use that for too long so I know that this app hogs my iPad battery life when it is uploading.
To tell the truth, this list just shows apps that are either being used or working in the background so there are two options here:
- Live with the Apps that are using your battery life as you really do need to use them.
- Delete the Apps you’re not using so your iPad battery lasts longer.
